Abstrakt are a collective of 4 individuals: 

•DMA (Johannesburg, South Africa) vocals , gtr, sax, programming, songwriter, producer 

•Ziyon (Nashville, U.S.A) vocals, keys, songwriter, producer

•Chillo Mafia (Cape town, South Africa) vocals, songwriter 

•One up (Harare, Zimbabwe) vocals, songwriter, producer, Creative/performance direction 

All 4 members of Abstrakt come from different backgrounds having worked in all area's of the music & entertainment industry. They have individually & collectively written,produced and worked with a variety of styles for themselves, top artists (such as: Mxo, Ringo, Loyiso, Gloria Bosman, RJ Benjamin, Amir Bayaan and Tito Jackson) and various projects. 

They now combine their skills to present their debut project with music that's an eclectic mix of sounds ranging from hip hop, funk,rnb to rock and bayous

•Pre release, Abstrakt already have their first single, Baby Blue on high rotation on Metro fm (the number 1 radio station in Africa), and have also had their songs on Mnet's cutting edge TV series "Innocent Times"..

They have also garnered international interest (including Def Jam/Universal records, UK)
