The Swingtones

The band with Chenara Fenton (vocals), Paul Mayers (piano & vocals), Robbie Dupont (bass guitar), Vernon Amos (guitar), Carlo Fabe (drums) and last – but not least - Carmen Krwaqa (vocals) came together at the beginning of the year and performs all the great well known standards as well as jazzy arrangements of newer songs. The band members are an interesting mix – from working in the corporate world to teaching at music academies’ –but the one common factor is their love for and ability to perform and make music!!
Unforgettable, Fly me to the moon, Smile and Taking a Chance on Love are some of the music you will hear - as well as some popular songs – Michael Buble’s Everything, Time after Time and Fever !

The band is versatile and able to perform just about anything given a bit of time to prepare. They recently ditched jazz and did a fabulous set of well-known party and sport supporters songs for a corporate gig which was a huge success.
