Durban Youth Radio 105.1fm are calling on members of the Durban community to assist in getting us back on air. We are hosting our Annual General Meeting with the presence of ICASA at Durban City Hall on Sunday the 16th of October at 10AM.

Presenters, management, staff, and other concerned members of the public and Durban community are attempting to vote in a new more suitable board of directors and need to hold a minimum attendance and votes of 50 people. After electing a new board, management will be installing the studio into brand new premises and broadcasting will commence. Negotiations are already underway with Sentec to reconnect 105.1fm frequency.

Gangs of Ballet is a Durban band comprising of four incredibly talented musicians - three of which have undertaken studying Music at University level. Their music, which combines their fresh energy with their musically intriguing melodies and arrangements, has a hauntingly anthemic sound which appeals both to the musically-minded as well as those merely seeking a good night out. Their sound cannot be pinned down to one specific genre but rather experiments with an ecclectic mix of alternative, melodic, anthemic, electronic and dance.
