Skwatta Kamp refuses to apologise for not making Kwaito, Afro-pop and House albums even though they are from Johannesburg, the capital of those genres. With their fifth official album aptly named “Bak On Kampus”, it is clear that they are still not relenting in their stance.

Thato “T’do” Mahlatsi, born in Soweto on the 17th of September 1983, began his entertainment career 18 years after his birth when he 1st discovered his television presenting talent in 2001 when he presented SABC 1`s magazine show “Get Real”.  He then came back to the scene as one half of hip-hop’s top notch tag team, Zulu Mobb, with his partner in crime Dez Demona in 2004.

The group went on to release two albums, Corner Bullet & Knife (2004) and Zuluminati (2005) , they were also nominated for a Metro FM Music Award and a Channel O Music Video Award.The increase in T’do’s credibility, stature and worth as an artist has seen him work with Slikour, Flabba, Mr Selwyn, Wicked, Mapaputsi, Psyfo and Amu.

Inferno Crew

The band was started in 2009, the aim was to unite music groups in Kroonstad specialising in hiphop music. The band started with six members,and today is down to five members, with Mpho Malgas being the manager of the crew.

In April 2011, Inferno Crew completed their tenth record, bring about the songs recorded to eleven.

The crew is currently touring Free State, creating fan base in small towns. and their target is to conquer Jhb city.
