Otshabeng Poulo (Tshabz Motswana-Rap), a 23 year old born August 16 1987 in a place called (Stateng) in Mafikeng. He grew up in a small town called Huhudi location in Vryburg (North West province). Tshabz finished his matric in 2006 and started college in 2007 to further his studies.

THE ONE NIGHT STANDS was created in Johannesburg in 2007. The group’s line up consists of George on drums, Sarah on the synthesizer, Martin on bass and Lu on guitars and vocals. Having spent 6 months in a dark and smoky rehearsal room, the band forged an intense and captivating sound. Described by Lu as “.. a melting pot of everything from the 50’s to the Now  - Jesus & Mary Chain drones, Byrdsian riffs, Interpol and Talking Heads on the jukebox with lyrics about love, loss, religion, death all fused to a Stax Soul beat!”
