A 5 piece Metal band based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Incorporating various styles of metal with classical influence to create a fast-paced, aggressive sound.

Started in 2010 by Craig Bekker, Richard Groome and Chad Havenga. Peter Heger was auditioned and became the vocalist in late 2010. Following the departure of the previous guitarist, Bruce Duncan joined in late 2010. The line-up has since remained unchanged.

We have released our debut track titled Stone Fish today for free download to the public.

Broken Truce \m/_BT_\m/

Broken Truce is the end product of a concept originally brought to light in late 2006 by Tiens van Zyl (at that stage part of choking!hazard, a Vaal Triangle based hard-rock band.) as a heavier side project. Tiens approached Louis Venter, a long-time friend (And former member of choking!hazard) to perform guitaring duties (with Tiens on bass) and started auditioning drummers to complete their line-up.

Sacrifist Returns to the stage with supporting bands: Broken Truce, Saints Method and Cataclysmicabyss.
