Evolver One FREE Album Launch at Fourways News Café, JHB.

On Friday, 26 March 2010, News Café Fourways will be packed to capacity for the highly anticipated third album launch event by South African rock band Evolver One.

Frankie Beagle's 11 track debut album is spun together with
many different threads then woven within a fabric of folk, making each song a
character unto its own. Stylistically the album meanders from soulful folk, to
blues, to jazz, with echoes of R & B and playful visits to the funfair. 

Some of her more well known influences include Regina
Spektor, Fiona Apple, Lauren Hill & array of eclectic sources.  Her material is inspired by her sister’s art and
film soundtracks.  She aims to create something different but familiar,
strange yet accessible.

The Sick-Leaves have been in studio for the past month recording the 3rd album with producer Darryl Torr at the SABC's M5.

Recording this album has seen The Sick-Leaves take a new direction in terms of songwriting, arrangement, production and tone. There will be 11 songs on the album.

Planned release is March the 1st 2010.
