Zone Fam is the current premiere hip hop group in Zambia. Deriving their name from a studio they frequented called 'The Zone'; the group was formed in 2007, and consists of six rappers; The Holstar, Al Kan-I, Dope G, Jay Rox, Yung Verbal and Thugga. With the combined nationalities of Zambia and South Africa, they create a fusion of cultures, which can only be described as the new era of African music.

The band was started in 2009, the aim was to unite music groups in Kroonstad specialising in hiphop music. The band started with six members,and today is down to five members, with Mpho Malgas being the manager of the crew.

In April 2011, Inferno Crew completed their tenth record, bring about the songs recorded to eleven.

The crew is currently touring Free State, creating fan base in small towns. and their target is to conquer Jhb city.

Niche fam is a rap group which consists of most elite mc's from durban. Insane who is from clermont has been brawling his way to the top on the mike...clearly the boy aint nothing tomess with, M.x the youngest dude in the fam straight out of pinetown prooves to be a bully on the mike continously. Niche fam aint new in the game,they've been around individually...they future appears to be looking bright with their album near completion for those who know what this click capable off.....expect to get blown away...no homo!!! having been on charts on yfm(Siz n scoop), 5fm(C-live), Metro fm (Tbo touch) , and many more they obviously having amazing music and being on many more . . .

Marcio Alves (born May 27, 1988),better known by his stage name Furious-M, is a Portuguese South African born international Rapper. He moved to Portugal when he was 4 years old. He eventually left Portugal in 1997 and made his return to South Africa and started his rap journey a year after his arrival. Furious quickly gained popularity in 2005 ranking top 10 best rappers in Johannesburg. He released a few demos which resulted in public attention, demanding more of Furious's songs.
