It was day 2 of the World Cup and soccer fever was at a full boil when Redhand headed south for a gig in Durban. Martin had left his house in the hands of some Chinese soccer fans (they were the ones taking pics of his garden) and was fielding calls about how to use the tv, internet, etc. all day. The rest of us sat back and enjoyed the trip.
We will be heading down there again soon as we were recently invited to play at the Durban International Blues Festival. Chicago next?

Day Far Gone is the product of garage-band style origins since 2007, where Joburg trio Hyden, Dean and Luke instinctively gravitated towards the same type of sound they were unknowingly looking for. It is an inspirational and true to life (give and take some poetic licence) that is bound to change the way you live your life! It tells the amazing story of a young man overcoming his disabilities to learn that he is differently abled, and able to achieve anything.

Keeping in the theme of Proudly SA, Magdalena is looking for inspirational SA Tunes (becuase lets face it - local is better) to set the tone and shape the play.

Francois ‘Franki M’ Mallum is a talented young artist, an open lyricist
and an exceptional guitarist. His music is transcendent, fusing hip
hop, jazz, rock and pop. It’s something for the masses. His lyrics are
