Guy Buttery

guybuttery.jpg

As you drive about 13 miles north of Durban, the largest city in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, you pass a lush fertile belt where the rich green shades of the sugar cane meet the turquoise of the Indian Ocean. This is where on the 26th November 1983, guitarist and composer Guy Buttery was born and raised in a small coastal town along the North Coast. This is a place of enchantment, freedom, promise and where the creative spirit takes charge. Besides being introduced to music at an early age through his mother who plays the piano and his older brothers who played guitar, the muse naturally took hold of Guy when he was ten.

Caitlin - Electric Violinist

Electric-Violinist-Caitlin.jpg

A daredevil of a performer that does things her way –
sliding across table tops & rocking electrifying showstoppers,
strutting down catwalks and swinging from ceilings, on top of a bus or
suspended over water, setting the sky ablaze with her laser violin or
partying up a storm with her dancers – Caitlin is an electric violinist
uniquely identified by her unstoppable energy and pure uninhibited
passion.

Dave Ferguson

ONE MAN ONE CHORD The problem with being left to one's own devices is that we seldom know how these devices work.............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Dave Ferguson's solo show, uses only harmonica, human beat-box and vocals, recording live loops and then layering and building those loops to construct a song. Nothing is pre-recorded so once a song is played it's gone... "ya know live". Doing mainly originals and some Blues/Americana and other unnexpected surprises thrown in for good measure.
