The Inspiration

Inspired by jazz greats Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong and more recently Sting & Michael Buble, Jazz Forte, brings you mood music at its best by infusing their unique take on timeless jazz standards with subtle contemporary flare.

Our Uniqueness

Jazz Forte gives audiences instantly recognizable melodies with Warren’s velvet vocals whereas the vast majority of jazz bands in Cape Town are purely instrumental.

Mood Music

Hailing from Blue Moon Farm in the Overberg, this duo plays funky folk rock songs written by Daniel Boshoff the lead singer, guitarist and kick-drummer, who recently won a prize at the Barleycorn Music Club's annual songwriter's competition. Accompanying him on bass and backing vocals is Blue Lew , an old hand from the days of “ Benny B Funk and the Sons of Ghadaffi’s Barmitzvah Band “. They're inspiration is born in the country air and raised on the easy life and their music shows it.

With hand-picked members ranging from age 18 to 27, INK is
determined to break down age barriers and unite young and old
through their music. Their musical variety has been known to
entertain every listener, and also bring an enchanting vibrancy and
warmth to any stage.
Jazz, R&B, Afro-funk and Kwasa Kwasa are just some of the rhythms
used in performances. With original up-tempo compositions that are
fused with even Afrikaans lyrics to promote interaction between
cultures. While even performing cover songs, this band has proved to
be phenomenal on stage.
Each member in their individuality has a different background, but
with their remarkable gifts, the love of music is the one thing that

The Greenes are a Cape Town-based indie rock/pop band with a secret weapon: original songs that you'll want to have stuck in your head. Their hypnotic melodies and mind-melding lyrics; an aural grenade to redefine the limits of your musical appreciation.

Prepare to be strung-up and teased by the vampish Mascara Betty and brain-bleached into submission by the pedestrian persistance of the money-mad Estate Agent.

Nikolai Viedge (Lead Guitar), Shahir (Lead Vocals) and Shahan Chundra (Rhythm Guitar) met while working at Exclusive Books.

At their first test gig Nicholas ‘Smithy’ Smit (Bassist) joined the band.

Sedert hulle bestaan in 2007, het Groot Oom John Tenoor baie gegroei. Die groep het klaar hul

eerste CD op die rakke, terwyl die manne nou besig is met die material vir die tweede een. Die

groep bestaan uit vier lede en is vernoem na n legende wat nie eintlik bestaan nie. Hy is groot, en

fantasties en baie rebels. Alles wat die lede van die band nie is nie.

We are just a couple of guys who play for the love of it. Our passion for what we do shows on stage and we guarantee to get your party/function on it's feet.

We choose to play all the classic rock songs that we grew up with in the 60's & 70's and have included more recent hits from the 80's, 90's and even the present.

Our repertoire includes the rock music of Pink Floyd, Santana, Rolling Stones, Bad Company, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Idol, Jethro Tull, The Beatles, CCR, Green Day, Joe Cocker, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and many more!

This 4 piece band consist out of:

• Andre Opperman: (Rhythm guitar and male vocal) ATKV Crescendo finalist in 2003
• Liezel Molier Nel: (Bass guitar and female vocals) Zing finalist in 2002.
• Izak Vorster: (Guitar) Played guitar for Rian du Toit - Crescendo winner 1991.
• Cois Viljoen (Drums)
