Caitlin - Electric Violinist

Electric-Violinist-Caitlin.jpg

A daredevil of a performer that does things her way –
sliding across table tops & rocking electrifying showstoppers,
strutting down catwalks and swinging from ceilings, on top of a bus or
suspended over water, setting the sky ablaze with her laser violin or
partying up a storm with her dancers – Caitlin is an electric violinist
uniquely identified by her unstoppable energy and pure uninhibited
passion.

Methods stem from sampling, field recording, looping as well as using analog synthesis to create live loops. Philosophy encompasses the idea that music is within all. Using sounds within nature and our environment and the manipulation thereafter. Gaining inspiration in molding the approach to production and composition. Exploring sounds of the world and the reinterpretation thereof is paramount.

Günther Alexander

GUNTHER ALEXANDER.jpg

Günther Alexander is a unique breed of artist who's musicality, conviction & passion combine to create something powerful & deeply inspirational. Addressing heartfelt issues relating to faith, struggle, & searching, musically painted across backdrops of electro/pop/rock soundscapes.

Merging music with raw emotion-Gunther Alexander's awe inspiring vocals evoke a sense of brokenness & vulnerability, transporting the listener to a place of introspective reflection. Beautifully written and well crafted melodies are this artist's trademark, from edgy & moody rock songs like "Gravity" to introspective electronic songs such as "selflessness" & meditational ballads like "Rain."

Mix n Blend

mixnblend.jpg

Mix n Blend are 3 individuals who like to play with sound in all its forms, all the time, whether it be designing sonics for TV and radio or composing new material to play out live at at various festivals around the country.

We're located on the tip of Africa, where there used to be a lot of dragons on sea maps a couple of hundred years ago. Now there aren't any, and where we are, in Cape Town, all the Lion and wildebeest have now disappeared too.
