She began her musical career at the tender age of 4 and continued to impress audiences throughout her schools years. A talented & fearless songwriter & co-producer, to which no genre is a challenge. Janine joined the band Intransit in 2009 & played at Dbn venues before touring with International band, SlamFactory. Sharing stages & producers with the best local talent, she did not miss a beat when she performed for Kool & The Gang in 2011. The Inspiration

Inspired by jazz greats Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong and more recently Sting & Michael Buble, Jazz Forte, brings you mood music at its best by infusing their unique take on timeless jazz standards with subtle contemporary flare.

Our Uniqueness

Jazz Forte gives audiences instantly recognizable melodies with Warren’s velvet vocals whereas the vast majority of jazz bands in Cape Town are purely instrumental.

So it was like this you see...

There we were, all excited and ready for a weekend on the road filled with music and loose women, puddling steadily along in the old orange combi when the smoke began to billow from the exhaust.

Would we make it to Pringle Bay? We could only hope.

Then, just kilometers from our destination *choke, the combi died. Just DIED. We tried everything. Mouth to mouth, CPR, none of it worked. So we were forced to telephone ahead to Perigators and inform them of the situation. Lucky they sent someone to tow us the last few K's and we made in time for our gig which turned out to be loads of fun!

But then...

We still had to get home to Stanford.

On the 28th and 29th of January 2012 we will be hosting the Midsummer Festival of Enchantment. We are looking for entertainers (preferably muscians and outdoor performers) who are willing to perform simply to gain experiance and exposure, and to enjoy the weekend. The event is outdoors, laid back, with an very earthy feel. You will have free entrance to the event for each member + 2 as well as a overnight camping space for 2.
