KZN born, South African songstress, Melanie Lowe is returning to Durban
as part of her 2010, KZN tour, for a one-night-only show at Boogie's
Rock 'n Roll Diner on the 3rd March 2010.
It has been nearly 7
months since Melanie performed in her home province and this KZN tour
promises to be Melanie at her best! Featuring her much-loved hit songs
and a few surprises, each show will strip back the mask and offer an
intimate portrait into Melanie’s life, as she shares honestly and
openly her own experiences and the stories behind her songs. Sultry and

Melanie’s music career started many
years ago when she began to write songs at the age of 14. She has been
a professional singer/songwriter for 15 years but many people will
remember Melanie when she became a household name 7 years ago, as,
watched by millions of South Africans, she made her way to the 3rd slot
of the first South African version of Idols. Since then she has won,
and been nominated for, several SAMA awards, and has carved out a
successful music career for herself as a singer/songwriter, gaining
herself many fans worldwide, as well as gaining much respect from her
peers in the music industry.
