Interview: Indidginus

South Africa was pretty much last on the boat with television and CD players, and living on the “black hole continent” of technology has its drawbacks for knob-twiddling musos. But that doesn’t stop electronic artists like Indidginus from dropping intelligent beats in what can only be described as a new generation of trance-dance-rock. Overtone tabs a few words with one of the grandfather clocks of the electronica scene…

Indidginus

Organica > Evocative electronic music & organic soundscapes infusion. Inspired by nature, nurture & nonsense. Sounds like Moby on his day off. “Music to wash the dishes to.”

The Orb, Sphongle, Moby, Ishq, Brian Eno, Black Dog, Biosphere, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Deep Forest, Ott, Talvin Singh, Transglobal Underground.
