Overtone is proud to host the first ever ZimFest in South Africa.
The concept is simple. We set up the most awesome collection of bands in South Africa and ask them to perform at our massive music festival. You all come and have a massive party. Make a difference – Party for Zimbabwe. The proceeds all go to Humanitarian efforts for Zimbabwe.

I’d love to see TUCAN TUCAN. They have a great African vibe, lots of positive attitude and a lot of love in their music.
… also love the headlining bands, especially my favourites: freshlyground, Rudimentals & Ike Moriz. The Dirty Skirts have been making waves too. Looking forward to check them out as well.

SHY GUEVARAS – A mission statement that fits…
If the world was as predictable and Savvy a place, as most of the wondering souls in it perceive it to be, then we wouldn’t need to vote for them, they would automatically be on all playlists – and in saying this, I’m pretty sure that will soon be the case – SHY GUEVARAS be the band of the decade, but if you followers and so called revolutionaries don’t vote, in-order to experience SHY GUEVARAS’ awesome, fantastic, amazing, mind and ear pleasing sounds, which can only via them – the SHY GUEVARAS, be so emotionally and rippingly transmitted using the tools and talents of their trade(which they all so perfectly portray) in the most unforgettable fashion… An experience that once exposed to, will keep you hooked — Just like everything in
this world that is addictive — only difference being that YOU CAN TELL EVERYBODY that they play the songs, that pretty much everyone else would on hearing SHY GUEVARAS, sing along…
So then,,, as the wonderers of these exposed reefs, we call earth, which needs to constantly be maintained and moulded, let all who KNOW,,, Hells bells – LET all who don’t yet KNOW,,, that the SHY GUEVARAS are MOST WORTHY of their spotlight in the MEMORIES OF ALL MANKINDS ARCHIVES.

I think most of you bands are taking yourselves just a little too seriously with your self-promotion. there’s lots of ways of supporting Zim. I’m all for the fest (yeah, it’s gonna be grand), but just come down from your goodie-good shoe horsie. I’d love to see the Nude Girls! Have they not offered to play?
