Small Town Heroes is a Durban based 3-piece rock band formed in early 2008.
Mark Cholerton (Vox, Guitar), John Benecke (Bass) and Karel Jordaan (Drums) are all seasoned musicians having played in bands like Waverley, Starplayer and Park Lane.
Small Town Heroes plays a brand of driving pop rock with catchy melodies and hooks that will have you humming long after the music has finished playing. They have a positive and uplifting message and attitude.
They are currently recording their debut album at 3AM Studios in Durban with ex-Tree bassist and now producer engineer John "Scoop" Randall. 2 tracks have already been completed - "Hard As You Try" and "Can You Hear Me" and they are both sounding great!
