The arts play a major role in the South African landscape. It has the power to inspire, create change, protest and inform us of the ethos of our time. In a world governed by bad press, only a few individuals stand up and challenge that idea. It is those people who inspire us to look for the good within, and around us. This festival, humble as it is, wants to be a part of that.

Lets stop being negative. Let’s stop passing the buck. Let’s stop taking second best. Let’s reach out and make something happen. Let’s celebrate. Let’s keep it Proud.
